CHINTERGEO – China Geographical Information and Technology Exhibition (formerly known as the National Surveying and Mapping Instrument Information Exchange Conference) has been running for 20 years since 1996. Over the past 20 years, China’s largest and one of the world’s most famous surveying and mapping instrument exhibition, the annual exhibition records the progress of surveying and mapping technology, shows historical changes in the surveying and mapping industry. The key to the success of the exhibition is positioning accuracy.

On the first day, I walked around the two exhibition halls, where I looked at the different exhibitors and their products. Mostly I saw products aimed at the local market, but there were also many aimed at the global scale. From accessories and spare parts to 3D scanning systems and classic measuring, it was impressive to see the technological innovations.

On the second day, I got a lot of new contacts related to different products. We also discussed potential collaborations and future opportunities together.
